Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ryker ("the Service"), operated at ryker.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Ryker is a YouTube analytics and AI-powered creator toolkit. The Service includes a web dashboard, AI tools (chat, content optimization, video generation, thumbnail generation, SEO analysis, and more), a browser extension for YouTube Studio, and related features. Features may change, be added, or be removed at our discretion.

3. Accounts

• You must sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
• One person or entity per account. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details current.

4. Subscription Plans & Tokens

• Ryker offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe.
• AI tools consume tokens. Token packages are non-refundable once purchased.
• Free-tier tokens or promotional tokens have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or cashed out.
• We reserve the right to change pricing, token costs, and plan features with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
• Attempt to exploit, abuse, or circumvent AI safety filters, abuse protections, or rate limits
• Use AI tools to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its AI outputs without permission
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Service beyond the provided API
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data

6. AI-Generated Content

• AI outputs (text, images, videos, thumbnails) are generated by third-party AI models (OpenAI, Google Veo, etc.) and are provided "as-is."
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content. We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, or fitness for any purpose.
• Generated videos are watermarked by default. Watermark removal is available for an additional token cost.
• Generated videos are stored temporarily (up to 10 minutes) and automatically deleted unless downloaded.
• AI-generated content may be subject to the terms and policies of the underlying AI providers.

7. YouTube API & Data

Ryker accesses YouTube data through the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API with your explicit consent via Google OAuth. By connecting your YouTube account, you also agree to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions or by disconnecting your account in Ryker Settings.

8. Browser Extension

The Ryker browser extension operates exclusively on youtube.com and studio.youtube.com. By installing the extension, you agree that it may inject UI elements into YouTube pages and communicate with Ryker servers when you interact with its tools. The extension does not modify your YouTube account or upload content on your behalf.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Ryker brand, logo, interface design, and code are owned by Ryker and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service (prompts, video metadata, etc.).
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use AI-generated outputs for your personal or commercial YouTube content.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, abuse of AI tools, fraud, or any conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.
• Fraud-locked accounts will have tokens revoked and API access disabled.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Ryker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Ryker in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ryker, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
